District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Baksa is a newly created state Government institution under BTR which is situated at Baksa district. It is located in Borimukh that is near about 4 km. distance from district headquarter Mushalpur. Borimukh is a rural area under Mushalpur local constituency under BTR. The area consists of Assamese, Bodo, Rabha, Rajbongshi community.
District Baksa, which has 4 educational blocks namely Jalah, Gobardhana, Tihu-Barama and Baksa. Aims of the newly created DIET is facilitate academic and education resource support to the elementary and secondary schools of the district.
