District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Baksa is a newly created state Government institution under BTR which is situated at Baksa district. It is located in Borimukh that is near about 4 km. distance from district headquarter Mushalpur. Borimukh is a rural area under Mushalpur local constituency under BTR. The area consists of Assamese, Bodo, Rabha, Rajbongshi community.
District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Baksa is a newly created institution under Bodoland territorial region. DIET, Baksa is a district level institution for academic guidance of the school education at all stages. It is related to all stake holders of the education as-well-as students and teachers community. The institution is now going to functioning step by step in all aspect of educational areas of grassroot level for upliftment of educational sceniro of the district.
The institution will try to solve the academic and school related problems by undertaken action research and study time to time whenever situation arises and feel necessities. The DIET will try to make all possible steps towards fulfillment the aspiration of the district with its jurisdiction and do all things in responsible manner.
